Kelly’s desire to help others drives her varied law practice with an emphasis on estate planning, estate and trust administration, real estate and business law. Whether it’s guiding a young couple in making their first wills and choosing a guardian for their children or assisting a family after the death of a loved one, Kelly’s approach to estate planning and probate and trust administration is compassionate, thorough and professional. In addition, Kelly has experience handling complex real estate transactions and disputes, including commercial and residential leasing, purchase and sale transactions, easements and condominiums. Kelly also provides general representation to small and large businesses including entity formation, asset purchases and sales, contracts and real estate transactions.

Kelly is a co-author of Eckhardt’s Workbook for Wisconsin Estate Planners (Chapter 2) and a co-author of Wisconsin Attorney’s Desk Reference (Chapter 18, Probating an Estate).

She is a member of the Dane County Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts degree with highest honors in Biological Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she was also an editor for the Wisconsin Law Review.

Aside from spending her college years at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Kelly is a lifelong Wisconsin resident. She grew up in the La Crosse area where she took many ballet, tap and jazz classes at her grandmother’s dance studio. Kelly enjoys spending time in the Northwoods, cheering on any Wisconsin sports team and taking her very sassy Westie to the dog park.
