Bell, Moore & Richter, S.C. Celebrating 175 Years
Bell, Moore & Richter, S.C. is proud to announce that they have been providing 175 years of legal services to individuals and businesses.
Attorney Emma L. Ferguson joined Bell, Moore & Richter, S.C., as an associate in 2026. Emma's practice focuses primarily on civil defense litigation, insurance defense, and medical and professional malpractice defense. In addition, Emma also accepts court appointments as guardian ad litem for minor children in family law matters. Emma is licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin, as well as in the Western and Eastern District Courts of Wisconsin.
Emma graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College, where she studied philosophy and political science. Emma received her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2021. During law school, Emma was involved with the Wisconsin Innocence Project and was both a competitor and a coach for the law school's Moot Court team. Before joining Bell, Moore & Richter, Emma worked at a nonprofit law firm in the Madison area, focusing much of her practice on family law and small claims litigation.
While outside of the office, Emma teaches and practices yoga and spends time with her family and friends. She lives in Madison with her husband and their two cats.
