Edward (Ed) Minser is a seasoned litigator with over a decade of experience handling high-stakes jury trials in Wisconsin. At Bell, Moore & Richter, Ed focuses his practice on civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, nursing home and long-term care defense, and municipal defense. His extensive trial background and strategic insight make him a trusted advocate for clients facing complex legal challenges.
Prior to joining the firm, Ed served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Litigation Unit at the Wisconsin Department of Justice. In that role, he traveled across Wisconsin to prosecute cases that were especially complicated, sensitive, or of statewide concern, and he specialized in cases involving homicide, arson, and public misconduct. Ed’s methodical approach, attention to detail, and courtroom presence has consistently resulted in positive outcomes.
Ed earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 2012) and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.S. Political Science, 2008).
In his free time, Ed enjoys camping and spending time at the lake with his wife and three young daughters. He is also developing skills in hand tool woodworking.
